Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda, Bi carb) is a white odourless solid that is crystalline, but often appears as a fine powder. Direct Chems provides ‘Natural' Sodium Bicarbonate, a mild abrasive which neutralises acids and effectively deodorises unpleasant smells. The alkaline substance also has antibacterial properties that tackles general household cleaning. Our supplier is ETI Soda, the first production facility in the world to utilise innovative solution-extraction on a commercial scale. Our sodium bicarbonate is 100% natural and soil association approved. Majority of the sodium bicarbonate in the market is synthetically produced leading to high energy costs and problems associated with disposing of chloride-containing waste streams.
As seen and recommended on @imnogardners posts.
Our sodium bicarbonate is FEMAS ACCREDITED.
Please note this sodium bicarbonate is targeting the cleaning and gardening industry. For food grade sodium bicarbonate specifically, please go to food grade category.

Ant control
Mix baking soda with honey to create bait for ants. The honey will attract the ants as a source of food. The baking soda will react with certain acids within the ant, which causes a chemical reaction that will dehydrate its exoskeleton and lead to the ant's expiration.
Carpet deodoriser
Add essential oil to baking soda, sprinkle on carpet, leave for 2 hours and hoover.

Clean dirty shoes

Clean drains
Clean all the drains in your home by running hot water before pouring in ½ cup of sodium bicarbonate and letting it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with hot water to wash away any leftover residue.
Eliminate fridge/bin odours
Each time you change your bin bag, add a spoonful of baking soda to the new bag to help absorb odours.

Remove grease and stains
To remove grease and stubborn stains, mix 2 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate with 1 tablespoon of vinegar (available at Direct Chems) to form a foaming mix. Apply to a damp cloth and clean. This mixture creates a compound called carbonic acid, which is a common ingredient in cleaning products and helps break down tough stains.
Weed Killer
Dry Conditions Only: Make sure the driveway is dry and no rain is expected for 24 hours.
Sprinkle Generously: Pour baking soda directly onto the weeds and into the joints between pavers.
Brush It In: Use a stiff broom to sweep the powder into the cracks.
Leave It Alone: Let it sit. The baking soda will draw moisture out of the weeds, killing them slowly.
Repeat Every 2–4 Weeks during growing season for prevention.
