Citric acid is a weak organic acid naturally found in citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges, it is a great disinfectant and natural cleaning agent. Direct Chems provides premium quality Citric acid granules which is ideal for removing limesacle, water marks and other deposits and is ideal for use on tiles, showers, taps and kettles. The product does not effect chrome, glaze or grout. Suitable for use in all water areas and is also food safe .This is a safer alternative and versatile in application so effectively removes any unwanted flaws around your household. The product is in granule form but can be easily mixed with water in a spray bottle for easy application.

Citric acid can be used to clean stainless steel, copper, brass and dissolve rust on wrought iron, cast iron and steel.
Do not use on galvanized zinc.
All purpose cleaner
Mix a tablespoon of citric acid with 2 cups of water and use as a spot cleaner on countertops, stoves and bathroom porcelain.

Bathroom cleaner
Mix citric acid and hot water in a container. Soak a cleaning cloth or mop in the solution and use it to clean for effective results.
Coffee maker stains
Add a few teaspoons of citric into the kettle, add water, boil and rinse.
Dishwasher detergent
Add a tablespoon of citric acid to each dishwasher cycle to soften the water to remove spots from your dishes and make your glasses sparkle.
Safe and eco-friendly, no residue on dishes.
Hard water stains
Create a solution of water and citric in a spray bottle and apply to hard water stains.
Humidifiers
Add a teaspoon of citric and mix with water to remove limescale.
Iron and Steamer
Clean hard water deposits, pour the citric acid cleaning solution, let it steam for about 5-10 minutes so all the solution evaporates.
Kettle descaler
Citric Acid is an excellent chelating agent which helps bind metals. It removes lime-scale from kettles, boilers and evaporators.
Add a few teaspoons of citric into the kettle, add water, boil and rinse.

Laundry
Common ingredient in laundry detergents, works as a fabric softener as it balances ph of laundry detergent.
Limescale remover
Make a paste with water and apply to surface, leave for 10 mins and rinse.

Shower heads
Use a citric acid paste or solution to remove all mildew and limescale.

Soap scum
Mix citric with water and add to spray bottle, apply to shower doors and bathtubs.
Taps
Pour mixture of citric and water to tap or create a solution in a bag and tie the solution over tap.
Thermos
Fill it with warm water and 1/4 cup citric acid, let it sit then rinse.
Toilet cleaner
Pour on toilet and let it sit for few hours then scrub to whiten toilet bowl.
