Product Details

TA (total alkalinity) Plus is used to increase the alkalinity of hot tub water. Ideal pool water conditions exist with a total alkalinity between 80-140ppm. If total alkalinity levels are too low pH levels won't be balanced, and you may experience a loss of water quality and corrosion of metal elements inside the pump. Keep it closed and store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children. 

Applications

Low total alkalinity can cause pool and spa water to become corrosive and pH levels hard to maintain. Alkalinity should be maintained between 80 - 150 mg/l (ppm). If total alkalinity is below the ideal levels, use TA Plus to increase alkalinity.

 

Application Instructions:

  • Pre-dissolve the product in a clean, plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10ltrs) of clean water. Stir well until the product has dissolved fully. Add the solution to the pool or spa while the pump(s) are turned on, preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution.
  • The total amount of TA Plus can be applied in one application.
