1) Fill the kettle halfway, then add 2 tablespoons of descaler
2) Allow to boil, unplug the kettle and leave for 10 minutes
3) Empty the kettle and rinse to get rid of flakes and residue
*To maintain performance, descale appliances every 3 months in hard water areas, and every 6 months in soft water areas.
