Product Details

Aromatherapy, massage, hair care, and other relaxing therapies commonly use castor oil. Direct Chems cold pressed castor oil is unrefined and works well as a carrier oil for essential oils or on its own. Castor oil is high in fatty acids. It nourishes and moisturises the skin, as well as acting as a therapy for rashes and dry regions.

Flip top cap for smaller opening and easy dispensing on palm of hands. Container is a plastic bottle.

Applications

Anti-Aging Moisturizer

It decreases the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, which are common indications of ageing. It may be used directly to the skin to alleviate dryness, stimulate collagen formation, and increase suppleness.                                                            

Skin Renewal                                                        

Castor Oil can be massaged into the face and left on overnight, then washed off in the morning. The appearance of blemishes will gradually diminish over time, as Castor Oil will promote the growth of more radiant skin over time. This simple, direct application to the skin works effectively for reducing the appearance of stretch marks as well.                  

Hair                                                                   

Castor Oil is a conditioning ingredient that leaves hair moisturised, lustrous, and free of the itching and bald patches associated with scalp infections and dryness when used on the hair. It may be used to nourish the hair and scalp before or after washing, or as an overnight hair treatment mask that can be rinsed off in the morning. It strengthens hair, reducing breakage and repairing split ends, all while encouraging and sustaining the development of hair that appears healthier and smoother. It locks moisture in the hair strands, making it seem fuller and richer in colour.

DIY Mascara

Add 1 t sp of coconut oil,1 tsp shea butter and 1.5 tsp soy wax, 4 tsp aloe vera gel to a bowl and melt this down. Add to mascara container and add in 2 capsule activated charcoal then mix. Let it settle for 2 hours before using.
