20% Acetic acid, also known as white vinegar, is a pungent-smelling organic acid. In an aqueous solution, it is a weak acid because it is only partly dissociated. It is natural, eco friendly and effective at getting rid of weed that is 4 times stronger than household white vinegar.

Remove weed

20% Acetic acid is potent against young weeds. Its efficiency improves with repeated applications. Spray it directly on the leaves to ensure complete saturation and minimal run-off. Water decomposes acetic acid and should not be applied when rain is expected or before watering. Avoid using on windy days to prevent dispersion.

Fungus gnat prevention

Mix 1 part acetic acid with 2 parts water. When the soil is dry, spray the solution directly onto plant leaves and soil. This will deter fungus gnats from damaging leaves and reproducing in soil.
